Creating Women Ministries is pleased to present Everyday Devotional, a series of meditational resources designed to nurture your soul and infuse creativity into your faith and life.Speaking as one who has used a variety of devotional materials as working road maps on my faith journey with God, I find these moments of insight and inspiration derived from prayer, meditation and reflection to be priceless gems which radiate light and hope through my days in unexpected ways. Scripture readings, brought back into context and eased gently open for my individual exploration and understanding, refresh my heart, soul and spirit to soar again, no matter what has come before. Stories drawn from other people's faith experiences and family histories create bonds of hope and renew ties with the relational quality and strength of God with us.
Everyday Devotionals are designed to use any way you choose, either as a personal adventure over morning coffee, or as a small group study with folks from church or your neighborhood. Each devotion is comprised of a scripture reading, a meditation, a prayer for your journey and some space for your own reflections. Each can be used by itself on a daily basis, or considered over many days. As an old friend once told me, "We each must work out our own salvation."
My own hope and prayer is that these devotions, thirty in all in each volume, are workable for you as a way to embody your beliefs in your daily life, and to let that faith shine in each moment of your being.
